Discover how one of the cornerstones of the real estate profession came to be! Code of Ethics, and Evolution takes a look back at the history of the REALTOR® Code of Ethics - from its beginnings to the changes that have shaped the "living document" REALTOR® follow today.

This course explores key moments in the evolution of the Code, how it has adapted alongside the real estate industry, and why it continues to play such an important role in maintaining professionalism and protecting the public. 

Agents will also gain a better understanding of the Citation Program administered by Illinois REALTORS®, including the procedures and potential penalties associated with violations of the Code of Ethcs. 

Whether you're brushing up on the Code or looking to better understand the history behind it, this course brings a fresh perspective of the ethical standards that guide REALTORS® every day.

Class will begin promptly at 9:00 AM. Please plan to arrive a little early to check in, pick up your course materials, and find a seat before class begins. 

Important: To receive credit for the course with the State of Illinois, attendees are required to check in at the beginning of class and check out at the end of class.

Breaks will be provided throughout the course. Lunch is included for new members, and other attendees will have the option to purchase lunch during registration.
